What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxed focused attention that everyone has experienced at some time. Like when you get totally absorbed in a good book, listening to music or when driving home and cant remember going past certain landmarks !
It is a pleasant, voluntary, state of relaxation and in this comfortable state, suggestibility is heightened, mental absorption is increased, the senses are heightened, and the imagination is activated in a controlled manner. The inner mind is more receptive to desired changes and suggestions.

Is Hypnosis good for everything that bothers me?

    Can a person be hypnotised against their will?

NO

No. You cannot ever be hypnotised against your will. You must want to go into this relaxed state known as Trance.

Will I be asleep in a hypnosis session?

NO

This is one of the most common beliefs about hypnosis.
In a hypnosis session you may look as if asleep because your body is very relaxed and still but you are actually more alert and focused, with the natural ability to remember and forget the same amount of information that is remembered or forgotten during conversation wakefulness.

Will I tell any secrets under hypnosis?

NO

No, the conscious mind is present all the time never goes away, it just becomes an observer. You will never say or do anything that is against your values, principles or beliefs.

A hypnotised person can lose control?

NO

Hypnosis is NOT about the hypnotist controlling you. You are in complete control the whole time. It is about you gaining more control over the way you think, feel and behave.

How will I feel in Hypnosis?

You will feel very very relaxed. You will hear all that is being said and may have your own thoughts still running through your mind. You are in full control at all times, just deeply relaxed.

At the end of the session will remember what happened?

YES

You will always be in control and remember what happened.
